WAREHOUSE & YARD OPERATIVE – CHIPPENHAM

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Yard Operative to join our well-established client based in Chippenham on a full-time ongoing basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable warehouse and logistics environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Yard Operative, Stock Controller, Production Operative or General Operative.

Please note: Due to travel between sites, access to your own transport is essential.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday


• 09:00 – 17:00

• £12.71 per hour

As a Warehouse & Yard Operative, you will receive:

As a Warehouse & Yard Operative, your duties will include:

• Supporting warehouse processes within a busy working environment


• Moving materials and stock around the warehouse and yard


• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently


• Preparing customer orders for dispatch


• Using a jet wash to clean equipment and yard areas


• Completing general warehouse and yard duties


• Carrying out stock checks and basic documentation


• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment


• Working across both the Calne and Chippenham sites when required

To be successful as a Warehouse & Yard Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience within warehousing, manufacturing, or yard environments


• Confidence using tools and related equipment


• Reliable and hardworking attitude


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team


• Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times


• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• Full training provided


• Ongoing development and support throughout your assignment
