Job Title: Warehouse Operative/Order Picker

Reports to: Logistics Manager
Main function:
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for working with warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient and accurate handling of stock, to enable maximum efficiency and correctness when picking, packing and shipping customer orders.
Core Responsibilities:
- Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock using in house software, ensuring goods are labeled as appropriate and the product is correctly located within the warehouse.
- Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders for shipment using lean lift and in house software.
- Use of Lee Inventory Shipping and online portals to ship domestic orders.
- Count and label stock off the production line, in line with bespoke customer requirements, using in house software.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Assist with spot stock takes as required.
- Report quality variances.
- Report quantity variances.
- Report batches variances.
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled, and transported securely and in line with company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles using FLT/REACH.
- Assist with annual stock checks.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, tidiness always complying with company and legislative standards
- Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns, and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your warehouse supervisor
- Ensuring delivery vehicles are loaded/unloaded in a safe manner.
- Ensure all waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, recycling wherever possible
- Always create a good impression of Lee Spring Limited and adhere to company rules and standards
- Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance as appropriate
- Deputise and provide cover for absent colleagues as required, and regularly refresh on processes to ensure this can be achieved effectively
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business
