Warehouse Operative

Role PurposeSupport the efficient movement of parcels throughout the warehouse, including unloading inbound trailers, loading outbound vehicles and moving parcels safely through operation.Key Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trailers and containers


• Load outbound vehicles according to loading plans


• Move parcels using pallet trucks, roll cages and conveyor systems


• Transfer parcels between operational areas


• Check trailer seals and report discrepancies


• Carry out visual checks for damaged parcels


• Maintain a clean and safe working environment


• Follow Health \& Safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move parcels up to 25kg


• Physically fit and able to work in a fast\-paced environment


• Flexible to work night shifts and weekends


• Good awareness of workplace safety

Preferred Experience

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience


• Experience using pallet trucks or warehouse equipment

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.50 per hour
