We can now offer the opportunity for Warehouse Operative to join our large multi\-disciplined operation based out of Hereford.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Receiving deliveries and accurately booking incoming stock and equipment into the warehouse.


• Picking and preparing materials, equipment and kit ready for collection by our trade colleagues.


• Ensuring stock and equipment are stored safely and in the correct locations.


• Keeping the warehouse, yard and skip areas clean, tidy and well organised at all times.


• Monitoring stock levels and ordering as required.


• Preparing and issuing clothing, PPE, tools and equipment for new employees, ensuring items issued are accurately recorded.


• Assisting with the return and recording of company equipment.


• Arranging and coordinating vehicle servicing and MOTs to ensure the fleet remains compliant and operational.


• Supporting the wider business with general warehouse, fleet and logistics requirements, which might include deliveries to sites.


• Following all company Health \& Safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Previous experience of working within a warehouse / stores environment.


• Forklift licence. (IPAF licence desirable, or a willingness to obtain)


• Excellent computer skills. (training will be provided for our in\-house software)


• Highly organised with good attention to detail.


• Proactive and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities.


• An ability to prioritise tasks.


• A commitment to maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

• Mobile phone and uniform are all provided.


• 40 hours a week.


• Salary – starting from £27,000 per annum.


• 25 days holiday \+ 8 bank holidays.
