Warehouse Operative

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of our distribution centre, supporting order fulfilment, stock management and logistics processes.

You’ll play an important part in delivering high\-quality service to both internal and external customers by maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail in all warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload, check, and receive incoming deliveries


• Verify stock accuracy and report shortages or damages


• Move goods safely and efficiently across the warehouse


• Pick and pack customer orders accurately


• Ensure packaging meets protection, weight, and shipping regulations


• Prioritise urgent and international orders to meet dispatch deadlines


• Record consignment details (weights, dimensions, etc.)


• Prepare orders for courier collection and handover


• Work closely with Quality Assurance when required


• Maintain excellent housekeeping and health \& safety standards

• Provide cover for team members during absence


• Support general warehouse and logistics operations

• Positive, hardworking, and proactive attitude


• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills


• Ability to work both independently and within a team


• Comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment


• Good communication skills


• Experience with warehouse systems or stock control (desirable)

• Supportive team environment
