Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative and play a key role in the day\-to\-day operations of our fast\-paced perfume and fragrance warehouse.

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and organising perfume stock, sorting boxes, picking products, packing customer orders, and preparing shipments. You will help ensure that orders are accurately processed, carefully packaged, and dispatched on time.

Attention to detail is essential, particularly when handling a wide range of fragrances, brands, and product variations. You will also assist with maintaining an organised warehouse, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and organise incoming perfume and fragrance products, ensuring all goods are handled carefully and safely


• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch


• Sort boxes and organise perfume stock by brand, fragrance, product type, and quantity


• Replenish shelves and maintain an organised warehouse to ensure products are easy to locate


• Check orders carefully to ensure the correct fragrances, sizes, and quantities are picked and packed


• Carry out quality checks on products and packaging, identifying any damaged, incorrect, or missing items


• Assist with receiving deliveries by checking incoming stock against delivery notes and purchase orders


• Keep accurate records of stock movements and assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks


• Ensure perfumes and other products are stored and handled appropriately to minimise damage or breakages


• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse while following all relevant health and safety procedures


• Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure customer orders are processed and dispatched on time

• Previous warehouse, stockroom, fulfilment, or order\-packing experience is desirable but not essential


• Good attention to detail, particularly when picking and packing multiple perfume brands and product variations


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced warehouse environment


• Physically fit and comfortable with standing, lifting, moving, and handling boxes throughout the shift


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team


• Good organisational skills with the ability to keep the warehouse and stock areas tidy


• Ability to follow instructions and warehouse procedures carefully


• Basic computer skills and experience with stock or warehouse management systems is an advantage


• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
