Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hard\-working Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our team! This is a dual purpose role combining the maintenance of an efficient warehouse operation and safely delivering goods to our regional customer base using a company vehicle.

Duties

• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring accurate handling of products with attention to detail


• Prepare orders for dispatch, verifying quantities and product integrity


• Drive company vehicles to deliver goods promptly and safely to various locations


• Navigate routes efficiently maintaining punctuality and safety on the road


• Assist in warehouse organisation, including heavy lifting and stock replenishment


• Communicate clearly and politely with team members and customers to confirm deliveries and resolve any issues


• Complete delivery documentation accurately and report any discrepancies or damages

Requirements

• Full driving license suitable for van or commercial vehicle operation with no more than 3 penalty points


• Previous experience in a warehouse environment or commercial multi\-drop driving role helpful but not essential.


• Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence is an advantage though full training /refresher can be supplied after initial training successfully completed.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly


• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues and customers


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £12\.75\-£13\.45 per hour

Expected hours: 39\.0 per week
