We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team at our Enfield warehouse. Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring accurate handling of materials.
- Manage stock levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory efficiently.
- Perform picking and packing duties with attention to detail to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately.
- Efficiently deliver products within Enfield and surrounding areas.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining an organised warehouse layout.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while adhering to company policies.
- Assist in building pallets and preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work and learn new things.
- Timely and effective performance of tasks
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve warehouse processes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- Must possess a Full (Manual) UK or EU Driving License with at least one year of experience, free of points or endorsements.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in stock management.
- A valid forklift licence is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Prior experience in sales of fasteners and fixings is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A keen desire to learn and progress within the company.

Pay: Up to £30,000\.00 per year
