We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team at our Enfield warehouse. Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring accurate handling of materials.


• Manage stock levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory efficiently.


• Perform picking and packing duties with attention to detail to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately.


• Efficiently deliver products within Enfield and surrounding areas.


• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining an organised warehouse layout.


• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while adhering to company policies.


• Assist in building pallets and preparing shipments for dispatch.


• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.


• Positive attitude and willingness to work and learn new things.


• Timely and effective performance of tasks


• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve warehouse processes.


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.


• Capable of working under pressure.


• Professional telephone manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.


• Must possess a Full (Manual) UK or EU Driving License with at least one year of experience, free of points or endorsements.


• Familiarity with warehouse management software is advantageous.


• Strong mechanical knowledge for operating equipment effectively.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.


• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in stock management.


• A valid forklift licence is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate.


• Prior experience in sales of fasteners and fixings is beneficial but not required.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.


• A keen desire to learn and progress within the company.
