Warehouse Operative - Days

Days and hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00am \- 17:30pm \& Sunday 7:00am \- 3:30pm

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently


• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage


• Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products


• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying shipments against packing lists


• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations


• Utilise forklifts and other equipment safely, following all operational guidelines


• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential


• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus


• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role


• Strong skills in materials handling to ensure safe transport of goods


• Excellent attention to detail for quality control processes


• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving procedures


• A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem\-solving
