Warehouse Operations - Must have Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.

£28,000+ per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join a well-established and growing organisation. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the business, supporting operational performance and customer service goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing goods inward processes, as well as; inventory control, outbound logistics, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, as well as compliance align with all company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

·Process incoming deliveries and check items against relevant documentation.
·Store products correctly and maintain accurate stock records.
·Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect goods.
·Assist with stock counts & maintain inventory accuracy.
·Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment requirements.
·Support improvements to warehouse processes and efficiency.
·Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
·Ensure shipments are correctly documented and ready for collection.
·Liaise with transport providers to support timely deliveries.
·Coordinate with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
·Monitor deliveries and help resolve any logistical issues.

Health & Safety

·Adhere to company policies and support continuous improvement activities.

Skills & Experience

·Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, stores, or distribution environment.
·Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
·Good IT skills, including experience using warehouse management or ERP systems.
·Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
·Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Desirable
·Reach Truck Licence.
