Warehouse Operative and General Assistant
Hours:12 hours per week split across three days, plus overtime.
Wage: £12\.80ph
Location: Nimmings Road, Blackheath
We are looking to recruit a warehouse operative and general assistant for our Blackheath warehouse. This can be an immediate start for the right person. This is a great environment for warehousing and logistics work, either for an experienced operative or someone joining at entry level. This is a mixed role where you'll be involved in all aspects of warehousing \& logistics: \- picking/packing/stock \& quality control/palletisation/despatch/customer service etc. You will also be required to assist in other areas of the business, such as operating our laser engraving machinery to create customer’s orders. Full training will be given.

Main elements of the role
Warehouse
\- Accepting deliveries and unloading containers (heavy lifting involved)
\- Stacking stock in warehouse. Sorting, and rotating stock
\- Picking stock, packing and dispatching (heavy lifting involved)
\- Select stock from warehouse and pack according to requirements. Consistent accuracy involved to avoid packing errors
\- Booking onto courier systems
Quality control
check incoming stock. Separate unsuitable stock and photograph
Production
work with machinery to customise thousands of items
