We are inviting applicants for a dual role position Warehouse Operative and Delivery Driver to support our Stores \& Logistics department based in Mallow.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and safety\-conscious experienced warehouse operative / driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service.
This is a hands\-on role combining warehouse operations with delivery driving. Flexibility will be required regarding early starts from Monday \- Friday. Responsibilities
Driving \& Delivery
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers, suppliers, or job sites.
- Load and unload vehicles in line with safety procedures.
- Verify delivery documentation, ensuring goods are accurately dispatched and received.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain vehicles in good working order, reporting defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, or other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
- Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and well\-organised.
- Assist with stock control, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
- Support the warehouse team with general duties during non\-driving hours.
Requirements
- Min 2 years warehouse and/or delivery driving experience.
- Full, clean Category B driving licence (minimum requirement); Categories C, C1, or C1E are a distinct advantage.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are desirable.
- Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance and/or Reach truck) is essential.
- Comfortable and certified for Working at Heights is desirable.
- Flexibility to cover a predefined territory \- predominantly Munster.
- Strong physical fitness, with the ability to safely lift, load, and move heavy goods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven track record of reliability, punctuality, and great customer service.
- Fluent English \- verbal and written.
