Warehouse Operations Lead
Stronghold Global are looking for an initiative\-taking and hands\-on Warehouse Operations Lead to support the day\-to\-day running of our warehouse operation in Swindon.
This is a key operational leadership role responsible for coordinating warehouse activities across inbound, outbound, dispatch, and production support functions. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining operational flow, supporting labour allocation, and ensuring customer needs are met efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations across multiple functions including goods in, picking and dispatch.
- Manage labour allocation and operational priorities to react effectively to changing workloads and customer demand.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to warehouse teams to maintain productivity and operational standards.
- Act as the primary escalation point for live operational issues and support effective problem resolution.
- Monitor workflow, operational performance, and service levels to ensure KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Support stock accuracy, replenishment activity, and operational housekeeping standards.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to support operational planning, performance management, and team development.
- Previous experience within a warehouse leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong organisational and decision\-making skills in a fast\-paced operational environment.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and allocate resources effectively.
- Direct leadership style and effective communication.
- Experience leading teams and maintaining high operational standards.
- WMS/scanner\-based picking experience beneficial but not essential.
Competitive salary of £33,000 \- £35,000
