Job Summary
We are seeking an organised and proactive Warehouse Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our warehouse facility. This role involves managing office functions, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in office administration, with a focus on maintaining efficient workflow and supporting warehouse operations.

Duties

  • Oversee daily administrative activities within the warehouse office, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.

  • Manage inventory records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to ensure accuracy and timely updates.

  • Supervise and support warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoring performance.

  • Handle human resources tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.

  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.

  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, clients, and internal departments via phone and email.

  • Organise meetings, prepare reports, and manage documentation related to warehouse operations.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office environment.

  • Provide excellent phone etiquette when liaising with external contacts or clients.
Skills
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a warehouse or logistics environment.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant organisational software.

  • Strong team management skills with prior supervising experience.

  • Knowledge of human resources procedures including recruitment and employee relations.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated clerical and administrative experience with attention to detail.

  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation. This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse while developing their managerial expertise in a dynamic environment.
