As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Warehouse \& Materials Planning Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations and inventory planning.
The Role
This is a hands\-on position that combines warehouse management with supply chain and materials planning responsibilities.
You will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained to support customer demand, while managing inbound shipments from our overseas manufacturing partners. You will work closely with the sales team to forecast future requirements and ensure the right products are available at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day\-to\-day operation of the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
- Plan and forecast stock requirements based on sales trends and projected demand.
- Place forward orders with overseas suppliers.
- Monitor stock movements and identify potential shortages before they occur.
- Coordinate inbound shipments, container deliveries and stock replenishment.
- Manage goods\-in and goods\-out processes.
- Ensure excellent stock accuracy and warehouse organisation.
- Work closely with the sales and purchasing teams to support business growth.
- Drive continuous improvements in warehouse efficiency and stock management.
- Previous warehouse management experience.
- Strong stock control and inventory management skills.
- Experience planning stock requirements and managing supplier lead times.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role.
- Experience using MRP, ERP or inventory management systems.
- Experience operating a Bendi/Flexi forklift truck.
- Experience managing imported goods and international supply chains.
- Previous experience within manufacturing, distribution or print industries.
We need someone who thinks ahead, not someone who simply reacts to stock shortages. The successful candidate will be comfortable analysing sales trends, forecasting demand and ensuring stock is available months in advance to support our continued growth.
