Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose Summary:
Responsible for fulfilling the customer demand for goods and services, in a timely, safe and customer focused manner.
Responsible for the movement of products through the warehouse operation to enable the fulfilment of customer orders. To do this in such a way that products are available and fit for purpose for all customer deliveries.
Responsible for warehouse health and safety
Responsible for the warehouse staff
Responsible for working with the wider Supply Chain team to ensure effective stock management and customer order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Booking in of all products
Put away of all products
Warehouse location system management
Picking and packing of all customer orders
Scheduling of Deliveries
Shipping of customer orders
New product introduction
Customer returns process
Warehouse Health and Safety
Management of the warehouse team members
Stock management and Stock accuracy.
Management of the fleet of vehicles
Management of warehouse budgets
Manage and be accountable for all warehouse KPIs and performance reporting.
Working in close liaison with the Supply Chain Manager and their team.
Dimensions/Scope of the Job:
- Customer base circa 3500 customers
- Supplier base circa six hundred suppliers
- Core range of products ranging in price from £100 \- £5000\.
- UK/Europe/Worldwide (China and USA) sourcing
- Staff Management circa three employees

Specific Job Skills:
Ideally educated to A level or above standard.
Strong experience in Inventory/Stock control management/Warehouse management – C.I.P.S qualification desirable.
Experience with fork lift truck operations preferred.
Understanding of the financial implications of good stock and inventory control.
Working knowledge and practise of warehouse management/processes.
Proficient user of commonly used software SAGE Line 50, Excel, Word.
Must hold UK Drivers Licence.
