About the Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining high operational standards, and leading a dedicated team to achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
- Leading, coaching, and developing warehouse staff.
- Ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control processes.
- Monitoring productivity and implementing continuous improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments.
- Managing warehouse budgets and operational costs.
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Producing operational and performance reports.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Senior Warehouse Supervisor.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to improving efficiency and performance.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
