Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining a safe working environment, and achieving performance targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.


• Schedule shifts and assign tasks to team members based on workload and priorities.


• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to support staff development.


• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.


• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to manage stock levels.


• Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.


• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.


• Address and resolve any safety incidents or violations promptly.


• Ensure the quality and integrity of incoming and outgoing goods.


• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory and shipments.


• Implement quality control procedures to minimize errors and defects.


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.


• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and execute operational strategies.


• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to optimize operations.


• Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.


• Provide regular updates and reports to the Warehouse Manager on team performance, inventory status, and operational issues.


• Address and resolve any team or operational conflicts effectively.


• Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 2\-3 years in a supervisory or team leader role.


• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.


• Excellent organizational and problem\-solving abilities.


• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.


• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.


• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Forklift certification (Reach, CB, VNA)
