We are looking for reinforcement for our warehouse team in Amsterdam\-West. Do you have experience in warehousing, logistics or order fulfilment? Or are you motivated to develop yourself within the logistics sector? Then this position may be a good fit for you.
As a Warehouse Employee / Logistics Assistant at FormX, you play an important role in the daily flow of goods through our central warehouse. You help ensure that products are received, stored, picked, packed and shipped correctly to customers across Europe and beyond.
About FormX
FormX is a unique Dutch company based in Amsterdam. We distribute creative and technical materials through several multilingual webshops. Our products are used in mold making, casting, special effects, model making, art, prototyping and industrial applications.
We import products from renowned manufacturers worldwide and supply customers throughout Europe and beyond. FormX has three retail locations: Amsterdam, Barcelona and Madrid. Our central warehouse is located in Amsterdam and works closely with our purchasing, sales, marketing, research and IT teams.
What will you do?
As part of the warehouse team, you are responsible for the accurate handling of incoming and outgoing goods. You work together with colleagues from logistics, purchasing and sales to make sure orders are processed efficiently and the warehouse remains organised and safe.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Packing orders carefully and correctly for shipment
- Booking shipments in the shipping system
- Checking outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods
- Loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles
- Replenishing products in the warehouse
- Placing goods in the correct warehouse locations
- Keeping stock locations organised and up to date
- Supporting stock counts and inventory checks
- Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect goods
- Maintaining order, cleanliness and safety in the warehouse
- Working according to internal procedures and safety guidelines
- Operating warehouse equipment, including a forklift when required
- Supporting colleagues with general logistics and warehouse tasks
We are looking for a reliable and practical colleague who enjoys physical work, works accurately and likes to be part of a motivated team. You are able to work independently, but you also understand the importance of teamwork in a busy warehouse environment.
You have:
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, or a strong interest in logistics
- A valid forklift license
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and/or English
- The ability to work accurately and neatly
- A practical and hands\-on mentality
- A responsible attitude towards safety and quality
- The ability to work independently and handle busy periods well
- Good physical condition, as the work can be physically demanding
- Preferably you live in Amsterdam or nearby
- Reliable and punctual

- Careful with products, equipment and colleagues
