Warehouse Coordinator

Gourmet House Caviar Lisboa is seeking a motivated, detail\-oriented, and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our growing operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, purchasing activities, and logistics coordination while ensuring efficient day\-to\-day workflow in a fast\-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and product availability.
- Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming shipments.
- Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments and deliveries.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock rotation procedures.
- Perform regular inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for receiving, shipping, and purchasing activities.
- Generate inventory, purchasing, and operational reports.
- Update inventory management systems and databases daily.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and management teams to support business requirements.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor warehouse supplies and equipment requirements.
- Assist with delivery scheduling and transportation logistics.
- Support process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Train and support warehouse staff when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Handle urgent operational issues and provide timely solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse coordination, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management processes.
- Experience using inventory management, ERP, or stock control software.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and data entry systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving abilities.
- Excellent time\-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, purchasing, and logistics procedures.
- Experience preparing inventory and operational reports.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Forklift certification is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in food distribution, luxury food products, hospitality supply, or produce markets is an asset.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
