Job Summary:\*\*

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to support the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. This role involves assisting with various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving, contributing to a smooth and organized workflow.

Job Responsibilities:\*\*

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.


• Store materials in designated locations using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, if certified).


• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for outgoing shipments.


• Prepare shipping documentation and labels.


• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.


• Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to established procedures.


• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.


• Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.


• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.


• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.


• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment.


• Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols.


• Forklift certification is a plus.
