The Role

We’re looking for a hands\-on, highly organised Warehouse Assistant to join our Show Preparation team. If you thrive in a fast\-paced environment and take pride in coordinating equipment for major productions, this is the role for you.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am \- 5:30pm. Fixed term contract, 12 months, could lead to Permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with building and preparation of large scale shows working with both in\-house and freelance teams.

  • Ensure all equipment entering and leaving the building is processed according to company policies, including SSS kit, subrentals, and new purchases.

  • Assess consumable stock needs and place orders as required.

  • Collaborate with the pickings team to organise loading bay space in preparation for loading vehicles.

  • Conduct freelance inductions and serve as the main point of contact for freelance teams visiting.

  • Maintain high standards for case and equipment cleanliness, vehicle packing, and load weights.

  • Liaise with project managers, address preparation problems, and facilitate communication between parties.
About You

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys building relationships and solving problems. Previous experience is beneficial, but we also welcome motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the role.

*Essential Requirements:*

  • Good standard of education, including English and Maths or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.

  • A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

  • Someone who stays cool under pressure and loves solving problems.

  • Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

  • A team player who can also work autonomously when needed.

  • Ability to lift and move equipment safely.

  • Proficient in a range of IT systems and software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
*Desirable Requirements:*
  • Experience in the entertainment and or events industry or a technically\-related field.

  • Experience of working in a warehouse setting.
