We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Assistant on behalf of a leading Oil & Gas service company based in Blackburn, Aberdeenshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to join a busy warehouse team on an initial one-month contract, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming materials and products
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating ERP/WMS systems
- Picking parts for assembly and preparing shipments for international freight
- Performing cycle counts and supporting inventory management activities
- Ensuring warehouse operations meet health, safety and quality standards
- Working closely with QA/QC, Operations and Finance teams
- Completing warehouse documentation accurately and efficiently
- Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts where required
- Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable using inventory, ERP or warehouse management systems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- B1 Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
- Competitive pay rate of £15.00 per hour
