The Role
As the Rack Champion, you will play a key role in managing, stripping, and maintaining built racks to ensure our equipment returns to the correct teams promptly and in top condition.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am \- 5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning \& Organising: Maintain rack backlogs in priority order; organise working areas, rack lids, and accessories efficiently.
- Maintenance \& Support: Strip built racks promptly, monitor equipment requests, search for missing hire items, and ensure tools and equipment are in great working order.
- Returns: Transport collated equipment back to relevant teams and assist with forklift/mezzanine backlog clearing.
- Communication: Liaise with Warehouse Managers, Show Prep, and Returns teams regarding equipment readiness, shortages, or maintenance issues.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys building relationships and solving problems. Previous experience is beneficial, but we also welcome motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the role.
*Essential Requirements:*
- Good standard of education, including English and Maths, or equivalent experience demonstrating required literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good communication skills
- Able to work well in a team and on your own
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Basic IT skills
- Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail
- Able to meet deadlines, including during busy periods
- Demonstrate a positive and practical attitude
- Experience in the entertainment and or events industry.
- Experience of working in a warehouse setting.
