Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including materials handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.


• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse/ Loading staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.


• Utilize warehouse management systems (Bespoke system training given) to track inventory levels, process orders, and generate reports accurately.


• Coordinate with third\-party logistics providers to streamline freight movement and optimize supply chain performance.


• Oversee the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment, ensuring proper use through training and adherence to safety standards. (The ideal candidate will also be forklift proficient)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics roles with strong knowledge of materials handling procedures.


• Hands\-on experience operating forklifts; certification preferred.


• Familiarity with warehouse management systems


• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.


• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast\-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.


• Strong understanding of shipping \& receiving processes, heavy lifting safety protocols, and process improvement strategies.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments within a Multi cultural operation and external partners.

Pay: £13\.85 per hour

Expected hours: 48\.0 – 60\.0 per week
