Warehouse Admin Assistant & Fulfilment Leader
Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent warehouse Admin Assistant who can help us develop our fulfilment potential. This vital role combines administrative oversight with hands\-on leadership in the warehouse operations, ensuring safe handling of materials, inventory management, and order fulfilment. You will be responsible for organising labour to tip containers, noting stock inventory on arrival, maintain accurate records with appropriate stock checks, and ensuring a quality service is provided to the customer. All whilte ensuring the workplace is kept a safe a clean place. This position allows an exciting opportunity to onboard a new customer to our warehouse, drive new operations and contribute to the success of our supply chain.
Duties
- Complete daily warehouse activities including picking, packing, stocking, and order fulfilment to ensure timely and accurate shipments
- Lead and motivate warehouse agency staff in materials handling, load \& unload operations, and mechanical tasks such as forklift driving
- Manage shipping \& receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize warehouse management system software to track inventory levels, update stock records, and generate reports
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet safety and quality standards
- Implement safety protocols for heavy lifting, mechanical equipment use, and general warehouse operations
- Coordinate with logistics partners for efficient, package collections, load planning and transportation scheduling
- Proven experience in warehouse management / administration with a focus on materials handling and inventory control
- Valid forklift certification (CTB / PIVOT) highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) \- Mintsoft particularly
- Strong understanding of shipping \& receiving procedures, picking \& packing techniques, and stocking methods
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast\-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control tasks
- Prior leadership experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory
Pay: £27,955\.20\-£31,824\.00 per year
