The VCSE sector plays a vital role in Calderdale's success. This role offers the opportunity to work with inspiring organisations, passionate volunteers and committed partners to help create stronger, fairer and more resilient communities.
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced project professional to lead key programmes that support Calderdale's VCSE sector.
You will manage significant contracts and grant programmes, coordinate delivery of the VCSE Strategy, develop new investment opportunities for community\-led initiatives, and work closely with partners across health, local government and the voluntary sector. You will play a central role in shaping how public services, volunteers and communities work together to create lasting impact.
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong project and partnership management experience
- Knowledge of commissioning, grants and contract management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A passion for community development and social impact
- The ability to work strategically while delivering practical outcomes
- An understanding of the value of volunteering and community action in creating stronger, more resilient communities

This role is based in the UK. Home Office guidance states that candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.
