Vintage Clothing Stock and Resale Assistant
Archive Vintage 75 is looking for a reliable freelance assistant to help turn stored vintage, designer and preloved clothing stock into photographed, listed and organised items ready for online resale.
This is a practical stock and resale role. It is not mainly a styling, modelling or social media role. The priority is sorting, preparing, photographing, listing and keeping stock organised.

Hours and pay
Initially 1 to 2 days per week
Potential to increase to up to 4 days per week if successful
£150 per day
Freelance, self employed basis
Mainly based around storage units in Hackney
Some agreed home based garment preparation or listing work may be available
Main duties
Sorting clothing stock by category, size, condition and value
Checking garments for labels, sizing, marks, damage and condition
Steaming, ironing and preparing clothing for photos and listings
Taking clear phone photos for online resale
Creating listings on Vinted, eBay, Depop, Facebook Marketplace and Instagram
Writing simple item descriptions including brand, size, condition and measurements
Updating a basic stock list or spreadsheet
Preparing sold items for postage or collection when needed
Keeping stock organised so items can be found quickly
Home based work
Some home based garment preparation, ironing, steaming, photo sorting, admin or listing work may be agreed once trust and a clear system are in place.
Any stock taken home must be kept clean, smoke free, pet hair free and handled carefully.

This role would suit someone practical, reliable and organised who has real experience with clothing, stock or online resale.
Relevant experience may include:
Selling on Vinted, eBay, Depop or Facebook Marketplace
Vintage or designer resale
Charity shop work
Fashion retail
Stockroom or warehouse work
Market stall work
Online product photography
Clothing listings
Basic spreadsheets or stock records
The right person will be:
Reliable and punctual
Careful with clothing and stock
Able to follow clear instructions
Comfortable working independently once shown what to do
Able to work steadily through repetitive tasks
Comfortable using a phone for photos, listings and communication
Able to travel to storage units around Hackney
Able to complete practical tasks without constant supervision
