PR By Whitney are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our growing team.

In this part\-time, in\-house position (3 days per week), you will play a pivotal role in shaping video content that elevates our clients' brands and stories.

Responsibilities:

• Craft compelling narratives from raw footage, utilising pacing, structure, and sound design to deliver high\-quality, engaging visuals.


• Master post\-production workflows using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and the wider Adobe Creative Suite.


• Collaborate closely with the team and clients to understand the creative vision, discuss concepts, and seamlessly incorporate feedback into the final cut.


• Enhance videos through colour correction, advanced sound design, audio mixing, motion graphics, and typography to achieve a professional and impactful end result.


• Manage and organise assets, ensuring projects, raw footage, and archives are structured efficiently on our storage systems.


• Stay updated on industry trends and post\-production techniques to continuously bring fresh, innovative ideas to our content.

Experience \& Required Skills:

• 2\+ years of proven experience as a professional video editor or in a related post\-production role.


• High proficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and the Adobe Creative Suite.


• Strong storytelling abilities with the capability to translate complex ideas into visually engaging, concise narratives.


• Excellent communication skills to articulate creative choices, collaborate effectively with team members, and build rapport with clients.


• Effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines, prioritise tasks efficiently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Creative flair with a sharp eye for pacing, rhythm, and visual style.

Nice\-to\-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with social media platforms, platform\-specific aspect ratios, and content optimisation strategies.


• Knowledge of motion graphics and text animation.
