We are looking for someone with great experience working as front of house to join our team in Goolds Veterinary Clinic. Goold’s Veterinary Clinic joined the Village Vets family, bringing even more resources and advanced care to support our patients. Goolds Vets proudly serve Mahon, Cork City, and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate is a detail\-oriented team player who will be leading the front of house team who are the first point of contact for visitors at the clinic and would also have an interest in learning about animal care with the goal of progressing their career.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors and welcome them to the clinic.

  • Answer and direct phone calls.

  • Schedule appointments.

  • Checking in patients.

  • Collecting payments.

  • Maintain records as necessary .

  • Manage the receptionist area and assist with admin tasks as needed.

  • Assist Vet nurses and Vets with patient care when necessary.

  • Undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or relevant work experience.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • 2 or more years of front of house experience.
