Venue Manager - Hatch Glasthule

Hatch is a community\-focused hospitality space built around great coffee, atmosphere/vibe, and people. We care deeply about creating an exceptional guest experience while building a positive, energetic culture for both customers and staff.

We’re looking for a hands\-on Venue Manager to lead the day\-to\-day operations of Hatch Glasthule ..someone who thrives in hospitality, leads by example, and takes pride in creating a warm, high\-performing environment.

The Role

As Venue Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the venue, including team leadership, service standards, operations, and customer experience. You’ll play a key role in shaping the culture and energy of Hatch while ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the venue


• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at all times


• Recruit, train, motivate, and support the team


• Maintain high standards across service, cleanliness, and presentation


• Manage staff scheduling and labour costs


• Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships


• Drive sales and identify opportunities for growth


• Handle customer feedback professionally and proactively


• Ensure compliance with health \& safety and food safety standards


• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture

• Previous management experience in hospitality, café, or restaurant environments


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail


• Positive, energetic, and solutions\-focused attitude


• Passion for hospitality and community\-driven spaces


• Ability to stay calm and lead under pressure


• Experience managing teams, rotas, and service flow


• Flexibility to work weekends and busy service periods
