Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a reputable independent garage in Bracknell, UK. • Competitive basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £44,000, dependent on experience and qualifications


• Achievable OTE of up to £50,000 inclusive of bonuses

Duties of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:

• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance including brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts or chains


• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics to identify issues accurately


• Carry out MOT testing for classes 4 and 7 (if MOT qualified)


• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service


• Keep detailed records of work carried out


• Support ongoing professional development and training


• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements of the MOT Technician:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester


• Full UK driving licence


• MOT qualification preferred but not essential


• Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge


• Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality


• Enthusiasm for working on multiple vehicle brands and models
