Vehicle Body Repair Technician - Automotive - West Midlands - Up to £50,000

Vehicle Body Repair Technician - The Details

  • Paid overtime

  • Increased holiday entitlement with length of service

Working Hours 8:00am - 4:20pm, Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)

Vehicle Body Repair Technician - Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Appropriate qualifications/training certificates in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A logical mindset

  • Carry out repairs as per job card/instructions

  • Work confidently across both LCV and HGV

  • Remove dents and strip damaged areas of the vehicle

  • Weld new or repaired panels into place

  • Undertake some light fabrication where required

  • Ensure the finished repair matches the rest of the vehicle, or prepare the surface for re-spray

  • Complete accurate job records
