Location: Lusk, County Dublin (on\-site)

Salary: €41,662 per annum and bonus with maximum potential of €1000

Contract: Full time, permanent

Schedule: 5 days out of 6

About the role:

We are recruiting a reliable and hardworking van driver to load and deliver goods safely, efficiently and on time while providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner. The driver is a key customer\-facing role, responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and courteously in line with company and transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People: To support the underlying principle of Creating a Great Place to Work.

  • Driving Duties: Safely drive the assigned van along assigned routes and schedules.. Ensure compliance with all road safety rules and regulations.. Load, Secure, transport, and deliver goods to designated locations as per schedule.. Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with Road Traffic Laws and Working Time Directive Regulations.

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections of the vehicle. Ensure the van is clean, fuelled, and in good working condition at all times. Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs to the Transport Supervisor immediately.

  • Safety and Conduct: Always obey rules and regulations on roads. Safety conscious driving and handling. Follow SOPs when loading and unloading van. Always Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety procedures.

  • Administrative Duties: Accurately record temperatures of fridge/freezer unit. Accurately complete product returns sheets and invoices. Accurately count and record cash received from cash on delivery customers
Competencies \& Skills:
  • Capable of lifting and moving goods within manual handling limits

  • Ability to drive for long periods

  • Fitness to pass regular medical and eyesight checks as required by RSA/NDLS

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Problem solving and adaptability

  • Teamwork and communication

  • Ability to work independently and handle goods safely

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

  • Good knowledge of road networks and transport regulations
Qualifications \& Experience
  • Valid driver’s license (appropriate category for van type).

  • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

  • Minimum 1 – 2 years of driving and manual handling experience.

  • Must be 25 years old or over (for insurance purposes)
Work Authorisation
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland.

  • Position is on\-site, based in Lusk, Co. Dublin.
