We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Valet to join our esteemed Housekeeping team at the Ham Yard Hotel. As a Valet, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our hotel, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and pressing.
- Handle sewing tasks and minor garment repairs as needed.
- Organise and manage team members uniforms, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the laundry area.
- Flexibly respond to the needs of the department and use your initiative to solve problems.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating cooperation and flexibility.
- Competitive hourly rate of £16\.50 \- £18\.00 inclusive of service charge.
