UX Lead- Digital Learning Platform (Adaptive Learning / EdTech)
Location: Hybrid (Manchester or London) - flexible/remote options available
We're supporting a high-profile digital programme within a major UK organisation, focused on reimagining a well-established learning platform into a next-generation, AI-driven adaptive learning experience.
This is a key opportunity for a UX Lead to shape how millions of learners engage with personalised education.
The Role You'll lead UX across discovery and early product development, helping define how the platform evolves to better meet learner needs. This includes running rapid discovery cycles, leading prototyping and concept testing, and translating insight into engaging, scalable experiences.
A core part of the role is designing compelling, personalised and gamified user journeys that motivate younger audiences and improve learning outcomes. You'll work closely with product, research, engineering and stakeholders to move quickly from ideas to measurable value.
What You'll Be Doing • Leading UX across continuous discovery, from research through to prototyping and validation
- Designing engaging, intuitive experiences tailored to primary-aged users
- Creating personalised and gamified learning journeys that drive engagement and retention
- Translating user needs and insight into clear, value-led design decisions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, product-led environment
- Contributing to the evolution of an AI-enabled adaptive learning platform
- Proven track record delivering engaging, personalised or gamified digital products
- Strong experience working in a continuous discovery environment
- Ability to lead discovery that drives tangible product outcomes and value
- Confident stakeholder engagement and ability to influence at senior levels
