Silk Route Legal is looking to recruit an Experienced Paralegal to join our well\-established immigration team. The right candidate will have an expertise in managing their own caseload in Corporate Immigration. Our employment law team supports both employers and employees with workplace policies, disputes, and immigration\-linked HR matters. We also handle dispute resolution, representing clients in commercial conflicts through negotiation, mediation, and litigation.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented paralegal to join our corporate immigration practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced solicitors and partners on complex immigration matters, including sponsor licence applications, Skilled Worker visas, compliance audits, and strategic advisory work.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an Experienced Immigration Paralegal
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working within a law firm or an OISC firm
- Have knowledge and expertise in all expects of corporate and business immigration applications, including but not limited to Skilled Worker, Senior or Specialist Worker visa (Global Business Mobility), High Potential Individual (HPI) visa, Global Talent visa and Creative Worker visa (Temporary Work) visas.
- Have expertise in Sponsor License applications, managing the SMS through being a Level 1 user.
- Be highly organised and manage their own workload under direct supervision from the Immigration Partner
- Be able to work well in a team
- Drafting and preparing visa applications and supporting documents
- Liaising with clients and government departments
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on immigration law developments
- Assisting with sponsor licence management and compliance
- Supporting fee earners with case preparation and client communications
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Strong interest in UK immigration law, particularly corporate immigration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in immigration law
