UPS Engineer
About The Role:
Working Hours: Monday \- Friday, 07:45 \- 16:30
- Conduct and record preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis of critical plant and equipment.
- Support and facilitate specialist subcontractors/vendors during planned, reactive or project tasks while ensuring they conform to the site procedures and agreed safety documentation.
- Monitor, maintain, investigate and acknowledge the BMS and SCADA systems.
- Undertake daily site checks to note and proactively repair any defects and to maintain plant rooms in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
- Rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA timeframes are always met.
- Provide rapid and effective response to customer and helpdesk requirements.
- Review subcontractor competencies before work permits are authorized
- Ensure compliance and escalate any issues that affect the availability, health and safety and security of the site.
- Adhere to all current company and Critical Engineering Management policies.
- Provide innovative solutions and recommendations to improve processes, building, plant and systems.
- Support cross functions within a critical environment team.
