UPS Engineer (m/f/d)

Area Project Office division is looking for an UPS Engineer (m/f/d) .

and service of our products including the associated software. Your
tasks: Collaboration with stakeholders including clients and internal
teams to define system requirements, perform site surveys, and develop
optimal UPS system configurations Integration, interfacing and
configuration of the UPS system with other power infrastructure in the
facility, such as generators, switchgears, transformers, STS, power
distribution units (PDUs), battery backup systems, etc. tailored to
meet the specific power needs of data centers and industry clients,
ensuring redundancy, efficiency, and reliability Design and purchase
of peripheral panels Technical consultation for internal teams and
clients regarding UPS system design, implementation, performance
optimization, and lifecycle service strategy, pre- as well as after
sales Act as a subject matter expert for UPS systems, offering
guidance on best practices, energy efficiency, and capacity planning
Development and discussion of detailed technical proposals,
documentation, system designs, schematics, configuration files,
manuals, service frameworks, remote monitoring solutions, maintenance
plans with clients and support of the establishment of service
networks and partner ecosystems Leading and coordinating of
cross-functional troubleshooting and incident management, including
root cause analysis, corrective actions for hardware, firmware and
software, and continuous improvement in collaboration with clients and
internal teams Your background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical
engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field;
certifications in UPS systems or power management (e.g., Certified
Power Systems Professional, UPS manufacturer certifications) are a
plus Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a
related technical role, preferably within UPS system design,
integration, and maintenance in data center or critical infrastructure
environments Strong understanding of power electronics, power
distribution, system configurations, and energy storage technologies
Proficiency in system integration, electrical schematics, and
technical documentation Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting
skills as well as excellent communication skills, with the ability to
explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders Customer-oriented mindset with experience in building
long-term relationships and developing service delivery frameworks or
