Unqualified Children's Residential Support Worker
- Location: North Shropshire \- Whitchurch, Market Drayton, Newport
- Working Pattern: 173 Hours per month \+ Sleeps
- Hours of work: 07:30 \- 23:00 \- Rolling 2 days on 4 days off
- Salary : £*2*6,670
- Sleep in: Additional *£65* per night \[Average up to £4,000 per year]

This is an exciting opportunity to join Physis Care as a Therapeutic Support Worker, supporting young people to overcome significant trauma, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.
We operate a number of specialist residential homes across Whitchurch, Newport, and Market Drayton, with opportunities available at both Qualified and Senior levels.
As part of our dedicated and nurturing team, you will provide therapeutic, child\-centred care to young people aged 11–18, who have experienced trauma and may be vulnerable to, or at risk of, exploitation. Through positive relationships, consistency, and compassion, you will play a vital role in helping young people feel safe, valued, and empowered to progress.

- Model and implement the Physis Model of Therapeutic Care to provide a safe, nurturing environment
- Support the emotional, social, and educational development of young people through individual and group work
- Work under the direction of the Registered Manager, and run shifts as required
- Act as a consistent caregiver, ensuring daily needs and individual care plans are met
- Promote safeguarding and welfare at all times
- Act as an ambassador for Physis Care and work effectively with external agencies
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential (use of onsite vehicles required)
- Experience working with young people with complex needs in a residential setting.
- Calm, resilient and confident in challenging situations
- Strong child\-centred values and decision\-making
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
