Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Unit Lead to join our team at Tanglewood Care Homes. Based in our welcoming facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support to our residents, embodying our values of kindness and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the care team to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive support.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Support staff training and development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and resident progress.
- Promote effective communication between residents, families, and team members.
- Qualifications
- Proven leadership and supervising experience within a care environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Experience in developing and managing care plans.
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation needs.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to care homes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to quality resident care.
- IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
