We're partnering with a growing specialty insurance business seeking an Underwriting Support Analyst to join its underwriting team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of insurance experience looking to build a long-term career in underwriting, delegated authority, programme management, or governance. Working closely with senior underwriters and programme managers, you'll gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of MGA programmes, from due diligence and onboarding through to governance, audit, and ongoing oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Support the onboarding and due diligence process for new insurance programmes and MGA partners.
Coordinate input from underwriting, compliance, legal, finance, claims, actuarial and operations teams.
Manage programme governance activities, ensuring documentation, reviews and regulatory requirements are maintained.
Assist with the planning and coordination of underwriting and coverholder audits.
Maintain programme records, trackers and management information across business systems.
Support underwriting teams with research, data gathering and committee papers.
Contribute to the development of governance frameworks, audit processes and portfolio oversight activities.
About You
2-3 years' experience in an insurance-related role such as underwriting support, operations, compliance, delegated authority or programme administration.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and following tasks through to completion.
Confident communicator who can engage with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Desirable Experience
Exposure to MGAs, delegated authority, Lloyd's or the London Market.
Experience using workflow or project management systems.
Interest in pursuing professional insurance qualifications.
