A highly regarded, award-winning multinational manufacturing business based in Basingstoke is recruiting for a UK & EMEA Finance Director.Having gone from strength to strength over the past five years, the business has built an excellent reputation for innovation, forward-thinking and being a pioneer within its market. This is an exciting time to join as the organisation enters its next phase of growth and development.Based in smart offices, the company operates a hybrid working model of three days in the office and two from home.Working closely with the MD and Group Finance Director, you will have the opportunity to help transform the finance function, embracing technology, data and innovative solutions to drive world-class performance across the business.
Your new role
This UK & EMEA Finance Director position is a key role within the senior leadership team, with responsibility for financial stewardship, performance and strategic direction across the EMEA and APAC regions, covering multiple international offices.This is a broad, hands-on leadership role combining financial control, commercial finance, strategic planning and FP&A. You will have the opportunity to develop and expand the FP&A capability, improving the quality of insight and analysis available to senior leadership.You will lead and develop the finance team, creating a forward-thinking, high-performance culture while partnering closely with commercial, operational and supply chain leaders.A key part of the opportunity will be using technology, data and AI to improve processes, enhance financial insight and enable better business decisions.Your responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, gross margin and profitability analysis, working capital management and partnering with commercial teams around sales pipelines and future performance.You will also oversee regional financial reporting, financial controls, statutory accounting, audit, compliance and tax.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified finance leader, ideally with experience gained within a manufacturing, logistics, distribution or product-based business.You will bring strong financial controls and technical accounting experience, combined with the commercial ability to influence strategy and partner effectively with senior leadership.Importantly, you will be forward-thinking and passionate about how technology, data and AI can transform finance, improve decision-making and deliver better business performance.You will also need to be comfortable operating in a hands-on leadership role within a growing international organisation.What you'll get in returnA salary of £90,000 to £110,000, plus car, bonus and private medical cover.Flexible hybrid working with three days in the office and two from home.The opportunity to join an entrepreneurial global business that actively encourages innovation and growth.You will have the freedom to develop, shape and make the role your own, including using technology and AI to help transform the finance function.You will gain significant C-suite exposure and play an influential role within a genuinely international and growing business.Free parking is also available.
