Twilight care assistant 6pm to 10pm

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, providing high\-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans.


• Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible.


• Maintain clear communication with residents to understand their needs and preferences.


• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.


• Document care provided accurately and report any concerns or changes in residents’ conditions to senior staff.


• Assist with light domestic duties, including meal preparation and light cleaning, respecting individual routines.


• Support residents in social activities and encourage participation to enhance their quality of life.


• Use IT systems to update records and communicate effectively within the care team.

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.


• Valid driving licence is preferred to assist with transportation needs.


• Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately and efficiently.


• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members.


• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.


• Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for others.
