Trusts and Grants Manager
Turn compelling ideas into vital funding for hospice care
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Trusts \& Grants Manager to grow sustainable income from trusts, foundations, grant\-making bodies and statutory funders. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you will build a strong funding pipeline, create persuasive applications and develop trusted relationships that help local people and their families living with life\-limiting illness.
What you’ll do
- Research and prioritise new funding opportunities, including higher\-value and multi\-year grants.
- Write compelling applications, proposals, cases for support and impact reports.
- Manage funder relationships, stewardship, reporting deadlines and grant conditions.
- Work with colleagues across the Hospice to develop realistic, accurately costed projects.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear pipeline and income reporting.
You will bring proven trusts and foundations fundraising experience, excellent written communication and strong relationship\-management skills. Highly organised and collaborative, you will be comfortable balancing multiple deadlines, using insight to shape priorities and representing the Hospice professionally. Experience of CRM systems is essential; knowledge of Donorfy, volunteer management or hospice fundraising would be an advantage.
