We have an exciting opportunity for Triage Nurse to join our Unscheduled care team at HMP Pentonville, a category B Prison located in London.
HMP Pentonville is a male prison that has a capacity for 1200 inmates, it is a remand prison for inmates awaiting trial. Well situated in London and is 10 minutes from Kings Cross station. Free parking.
Lots of scope for progression, various opportunities if you are interested in a specific subjects and PPG will support you with the training.

Monday to Friday
8am \-4pm
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £56,086per annum depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Triage nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Managing healthcare requests from patients and triaging or sending them to the correct pathway i.e. dentist
- Attend emergency response situations and assess patients
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their
- Deliver non\-judgemental care that makes a real difference
- Inspire excellence by forging strong links with our partners and stakeholders and providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within, and feel proud of
- Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning.
- Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi\-disciplinary teams and supporting each other to do a great job.

Qualifications required:
- Registered nurse – Adult
- Current professional qualification (NMC)
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Understanding of the complexities of multi\-disciplinary and multi\-agency working
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive problem solving skills
- Motivated as an individual and when working in a team
