Dental Care Ireland have an exciting opportunity for a Treatment Coordinator to join our established Northumberland Dental, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 practice. We have recently won 2026 Great Place to Work, as voted by our employees. Proposed commencement date July 2026\.

  • Full\-time, permanent position. 5 days, 37\.5 hours per week. Monday\-Friday.

  • 2\+ years' Dental TCO experience essential.

  • Must have knowledge of specialist dental treatment.

  • Highly proficient in English and eligible to work in Ireland is essential.

Reporting to: Practice Manager

Summary of Role

The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the patient experience by acting as a liaison between the Dentist and the patient. The TCO assists in the gathering and organising of information and documentation at all stages of the patient journey, ultimately coordinating a treatment plan with the Dentist and presenting it to the patient

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop rapport with patients by providing treatment information \& reassurance.

  • Act as a liaison between Dentist and patient: be present during consultations, discuss and agree patient treatment plan with Dentist, discuss treatment plan costs with patients and ensure they are up\-to\-date on agreed payment schedule etc.

  • Work with the Dentists in the practice (particularly specialists or those with a specialist interest) to devise a strategy to improve treatment uptake.

  • Maximise provider diaries to ensure efficient use of time and to improve revenue per hour through zoning, treatment plan follow\-up and price improvements.

  • Engage in proactive diary management through the use of cancellation lists, cancellation policy, appointment reminders, recalls, tracking cancelled/FTA appointments etc.

  • Assist with incoming as well as outgoing referrals in the practice.

  • Assist with training and upskilling of clinical staff.
