We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Specialist with experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or treasury consulting. The ideal candidate will combine strong treasury expertise with proven project management capabilities, leading end\-to\-end treasury initiatives across multiple business functions and geographies.
This role will be responsible for driving treasury transformation projects, optimizing treasury processes, implementing banking and treasury management solutions, and supporting strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing liquidity, risk management, and operational efficiency.
In particular, the resource:
- Lead treasury projects from initiation through execution, monitoring, and post\-implementation review.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business requirements.
- Coordinate cross\-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Accounting, Tax, IT, Procurement, Legal, and external banking partners.
- Manage project governance, risk assessments, issue resolution, and status reporting to senior management.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, process maps, business requirements, and implementation plans.
- Support and optimize global cash management structures and banking relationships.
- Monitor cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and working capital initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve cash visibility and centralize treasury activities.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of cash pooling, in\-house banking, and payment factory structures.
- Support bank account management and treasury policy compliance.
- Lead Treasury Management System (TMS, Piteco, SAP) implementation and enhancement projects.
- Coordinate bank connectivity initiatives, including SWIFT, host\-to\-host and payment platforms.
- Support ERP integration projects impacting treasury processes.
- Drive automation and process standardization initiatives across treasury operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to define system requirements, testing plans, and deployment activities.
Must have
- Proven experience managing end\-to\-end treasury projects and transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of treasury processes, banking products, cash management, liquidity structures, and financial risk management.
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems \- Piteco experience is mandatory
*Professional experience:* 3\-5 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Cash Management, Treasury Consulting, or Treasury Operations in holding structures or similar
*Language*: Fluent Italian \& English required; additional languages are a plus
*Soft \& Technical Skills:*
- Knowledge of ERP environments such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong project management skills and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Professional certifications (CTP, PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) are considered an advantage
