Travel Manager \| Ireland (Office\-Based)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Manager to lead the governance, administration, and continuous improvement of our Travel \& Expense (T\&E) programme. This role is critical in ensuring all business travel is managed efficiently, cost\-effectively, and in full compliance with company policy, while supporting employees across multiple operational regions.

The successful candidate will act as the central owner of our travel platform (Perk), managing bookings, approvals, supplier relationships, reporting, and policy alignment in close collaboration with Finance and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities* Own and manage the Perk travel platform, ensuring all travel (air, rail, hotel, car hire) is booked in line with policy

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Travel \& Expense policy, driving compliance and best practice

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all travel\-related queries, bookings, changes, and emergency travel needs

  • Deliver a robust accommodation strategy, including hotel sourcing, rate negotiation, and preferred supplier management

  • Partner with Finance to monitor travel spend, produce reporting, identify cost\-saving opportunities, and support audits

  • Oversee virtual debit card usage, ensuring appropriate controls, monitoring, and reconciliation

  • Manage supplier relationships and corporate rewards programmes to maximise value for the business

  • Ensure effective onboarding/offboarding of travellers and accuracy of system data and approvals
Skills \& Experience* Proven experience in travel management, T\&E programmes, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of policy governance, compliance, and financial controls

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, with experience negotiating with hotels or travel providers

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross\-functionally

  • Highly organised, detail\-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment
Desirable* Experience working closely with Finance teams or within controlled environments
  • Familiarity with travel booking platforms (e.g., Perk or similar)

  • Experience supporting audits, reporting, or cost optimisation initiatives
