On Foot Holidays is a well\-established company based in Salisbury, specialising in independent walking holidays in Europe and the UK. We are consistently prizewinners in the “AITO Tour Operator of the Year” competition (voted for by our clients), and we are now looking to expand our small team further.

The job primarily entails, as part of a team :

• initially, preparing holiday information packs for our clients; then later


• advising customers on our wide range of self\-guided walking holidays,


• taking and tailoring bookings to their requirements, and


• using our bespoke reservations software (full training given) to book hotels etc in the UK and Europe.

On Foot is very customer focused so there is ample opportunity to engage with our walkers, many of whom have done multiple holidays with us.

You should:

• have excellent and up\-to\-date computer literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook) and confidence in using computers,


• be outgoing, assiduous and confident,


• have a professional yet friendly telephone manner, and


• have excellent written English.

It would be great if you had in addition:

• language skills (in particular Spanish/Italian)


• an all\-round education to degree level


• a love of walking in your spare time


• an understanding of Europe and its cultures
